






High Sierra Patrol Officers receive 40 hours of comprehensive training in areas including field operations, beat management, report writing and patrol procedures. Officers may work from any of our locations, Day, Swing or Graveyard Shift.
Beat assignments range from on-site accounts such as Homeowners Associations, Beach Patrol and Park Rangers to Distribution Centers and Hospitals. In addition to on-site accounts, our officers may be assigned to Patrol and respond to calls for service from any one of our Service Centers. Currently HSP services South Lake Tahoe,
North Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley and Fallon, NV.
- HSP offers Competative wages, generally higher than the industry standard, depending on experience.
- Each Officer is evaluated and eligable for a merit increase after 90 days of Full Time Employment.
- Officers receive 40 hours paid vacation after one year of Full Time employment.
- As a hiring bonus, after 90 days of Full Time employment HSP will reimburse the $65 fee required by the Sheriffs Department for the Employee Sheriffs Card.
Qualified applicants will have a clean criminal history and driving record and must undergo a thorough background investigation.
